Volunteers are critical to the success of Big Medium’s programs and help in a variety of invaluable ways—especially during WEST, EAST, and in the Big Medium Gallery. Volunteering at Big Medium is a fun, flexible way to share your time and be a vital part of the Austin arts community. Our committed volunteers are individuals who bring a wide variety of personal and professional experiences and interests to our programs, and help our small but mighty staff achieve a whole lot.

Big Medium welcomes people of all ages from the greater Austin community who want to spend time getting to know the local arts community. Volunteers enjoy being on the frontlines for EAST, WEST, and the Big Medium Gallery, and have many opportunities throughout the year to get to know artists and other arts-loving individuals through our volunteer meet-ups, appreciation parties, and other Big Medium events.
