Describe your artistic style in three words.
Personal, meditative, universal

What's inspiring you right now?
I have been excited to learn more about modern science's take on the brain and heart in conjunction to understand ancient mystical spiritualism.

What do you do when you're feeling uninspired?
When I have a strong deadline and feel stressed for not having an inspiration, I meditate more so I can stay calm and have clear thoughts. I find that when I feel tensed, I am unable to receive inspirations. I also believe those times, when I am not actively creating or having flow of ideas, are incubating period for inspirations. So, I tend to just enjoy doing other things during those times.

Tell us something unique about your process.
I have created more than 10 series for the last decade and each series have different approach, subject matter, usage of medium, and aesthetic. But all of my series have been a continuation of my research on the idea of a Personal Identity. As my evolution about this idea changed and developed, my works reflected this. One of my friends jokingly described my process to be having "multiple personalities" and I can understand that as my works are very diverse. But, there is a consistent, underlying interest and a quest that threads all of them.

What advice do you have for other artists?
I don't have any advice because I think everyone is doing their best!

Anything else you'd like to share?
Being an artist brought many challenges to overcome. It was never easy and I don't know if it ever will be. But I feel like I am growing tremendously as a human because I have to constantly pave my own path as an artist, which is a lot of work and a lot of adventure that keeps me moving forward. I am grateful many people are in this together and wish all the best for you.Take care!
